Wrapping up a productive day of meetings in Mexico City with the Embassy of China, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and the China Chamber of Commerce & Technology.
During the meetings we discussed about the multiple Chinese companies investing in Nuevo León and how to help them have a better softlanding in Mexico.
We discussed ideas about how to promote Nuevo León better between potential investors in highly-developed Chinese cities like Chongqing, Hangzhou, Shenzhen, and Qingdao.
We fine-tuned details about the Sistership Agreement we pretend to sign between the province of Zhejiang and the state of Nuevo León. This will bolster the arrival of Chinese investments and open multiple business opportunities for companies from Nuevo León.
Nuevo León’s relationship with China has been growing rapidly in the past months. There are currently 29 companies with Chinese investment operating successfully in Nuevo León, mainly from the autoparts and electronics industry.
Some of the most representative Chinese companies operating successfully in Nuevo León are Lenovo, Joyson, Hofusan, Wolong, Didi, Broad Ocean, Bromake, Mexin, and XZB.
Nuevo León and China are also working together in education to prepare future leaders to head Chinese projects in the State through scholarships.
