Japanese DENSO keeps growing in Nuevo León

The Japanese company Denso held today the Grand Opening Ceremony of its new expansion project in Apodaca, Nuevo León. This is the eighth time that the company has carried out an expansion in the state.

The event was attended by the Secretary of Economy, Roberto Russildi Montellano, the mayor of Apodaca, César Garza Villarreal, the President of Denso Mexico, Mitsuro Kato, as well as important representatives of their suppliers and company workers.

Since it was established in Nuevo León in 1996, the company has stood out for its exceptional growth and its commitment to the society. It is due to this commitment that they decided to implement the use of solar panels in their most recent expansion project, not only to reduce the carbon emissions emitted during their production process, but also to save more than 1.1 million liters of water per year.

Denso currently has two production plants in Nuevo León, one in Apodaca and one in Guadalupe, employing 4,500 people that will grow to 5,000 as a result of their new expansion.
