Governor Jaime Rodríguez Calderón receives a gala trade mission organized by MEDEF International, an association serving French companies that want to develop in emerging and developing markets.
French businessmen made a commercial mission to Nuevo León, organized by MEDEF International, an association in the service of galas industries interested in investing in emerging and developing markets.
To a group of French businessmen from the sectors of energy, infrastructure, sustainable development, industry, aerospace, information technology, finance and health, Governor Jaime Rodríguez Calderón explained the advantages that the state has for the development of business in these items.
Rodríguez Calderón pointed out that his Administration works in the simplification of the procedures required by companies to settle in the entity.
"Today we are changing concepts, we must remove so many requirements for investment, we must lower taxes, I am a lover of companies," said the Governor.
"I believe that companies move the world, not governments. Entrepreneurs are pushing, creating jobs, creating wealth, creating opportunities, generating the condition of comfort that society needs to have."
The State Government, he said, will provide the facilities they require to decide to bring their companies to the entity.
Representatives of about 40 French companies seeking to invest in Nuevo León participate in the commercial mission.
Fernando Turner, Secretary of Economy and Labor of Nuevo León, pointed the importance of the state in continuing at the forefront of manufacturing processes.
Currently, he said, Industry 4.0 is boosted in Nuevo León.
"We want Nuevo Leon to be a platform for manufacturing and applied engineering as strong as any European country, that is the objective, we are going to achieve it and today we are working on it," he said.
The president of MEDEF International, Frédéric Sanchez, showed the great interest of the French business delegation to invest in the state.
"Our challenge is to take companies to other parts of the world, to cross borders, that is why MEDEF International decided to promote companies in Mexico," he said.
MEDEF International brings together French companies of all sizes and sectors, interested in developing in emerging and developing markets.
